weipro PS with water pump and air pump

thinking to try to add air pump together with existing water

pump... on weipro PS..

think it may have more bubbles....

any1 have any comments??

by doing so, u will create huge bubbles, useless....

yar agree....and the air pump make the bigger bubbles to burst quickly..

What about injecting small air bubble..??

it will be quite tough to inject small bubbles unless u are using the wooden stock

wooden stock? what's that ? u mean the wooden air stone? if so, yes thats the onli way but where are u going to put the wooden air stone?

got ppl did that b4.

use a hot screw poke a hole into the top of collection cup.

slide in tube with sand wood inside.. create more fine bubbles..

i tried before and it works .. i use a weipro 2012 and a 1200L/h PH to run .. pump in air at the PH inlet. the impeller break up the bubble into smaller bubbles.

and it skim so much beter than the usual weipro..

but i removed the venturi in the skimmer to do this.

the concept is the same as needle wheel. only that no needle.

the venturi was remove to increase flow rate. will post u a picture of it when i free.
