I may be ordering in a unit of the ICE PROBE to test on my tank.

You can get a look here. Using advanced thermoelectric technology to directly convert electricity into cooling power, it can supposedly cool up to 55G. It is powered separately by a 12v DC power supply consuming less than 50 watts.
