snails are vulnerable creature ??

Recommended Posts

hi guys ,

haiz , todae because of my carelessness i think i killed a snail in my tank ... though it is just a 1 dollars creature but he is a hard working creature ....

i was rescaping my rock and i found him in the way so i decided to pluck him out like what i did usually but this time it is different , it died after that ...

i reckon it is due to the mucus-slimy-like thing after i shifted my hammer somewhere else ... after that using the same hand i touch the body of the snail ... it sort of like died immediately ...

thought it is just hiding in it's shell but realise something wrong when my cleaner go and "eat" him and he didnt move for the whole dae ... IT"S DEAD

i sthe slimy thing of the hammer that deadly ?? and how to move snail correctly if iy happened again ??

Wah... bro... you pluck your snail with alot of force ah? or you keep plucking it out? normally i will just tickle the flesh abit and then gently let it release the suction by itself... may not be the hammer that killed it, could be due to excessive force... poor snail :D

my snail died because whilst I was rescaping my rockscape with the rocks within the tank, a huge boulder *and buy huge I really mean huge.* dropped onto a snail.

only realised after removing the rocks that there was a crushed shell at the bottom. gee.
