hey guys, i went to this website: www.adec.com.sg

saw quite a few canister filters. brands like dymax, matrix, jebao.

now, someof them are cheap, some are more expensive, range from $30 - $100. My point is, how do i know which one to buy? Is the brand eheim better than the other brands like matrix?

dymax looks flat and funny. is it any effective?

i was also thinking, if i purchase any of the above canister filters for my 2 ft tank, can i just buy a cheap protein skimmer for my tank? its a FOWLR anyway.

anyone know where to recommend for gd prices on the above, including the tank? saw a 2 ft tank for $26. was told its tampered glass. is it good?
