Like to know the price for 55watt PL tube

Got a shock yesterday when I try to replace a burnt light in my kitchen ceiling light. It's a 55watt PL tube. I got an Osram whitest light from DIY store, but the colour turn out a bit yellowish. I suspect my 55watt PL tube is 10kk, but its brandless and no printing to indicate anything, not even the wattage.

Please help me by indicating how much does a 55watt PL tube of 10kk colour temp cost in LFS. Thanks.

i think osram doesn't make 10KK PL tubes..their whitest daylights end at around 6000K or so...not too sure..

for 55W PL 10KK....either aqualux or coralife is seen around lfs....u can try calling petmart

Need to know how much it cost leh. You got any idea? The osram daylight is so off white, the 2 lights in the kitchen not balance now. I still prefer the whiter light with a bit blue tint. Hope its not $50+, I will freak out manz.

if coralife, i think will be more than 50 ..i may be wrong..

aqualux is much cheaper...thomson nature aquarium should have alot...

bro....i dun think they carry 55w PL tubes 10K...

your best bet near you is petmart already i think

call before u go down in case no stock

Try to go to the light shop at the Petmart area, facing the main road.

They do carry some cheap 8000/9000k PL 36W (whitish blue type), They could have the 55W type too. Their is not for aquarium use, so should be much cheaper.
