I had the same experience with 250W BLV 10K. Almost all Acro turn full purple. Even the birdnest change to lavender purple.

Now that I changed to 250W Hamilton 14K. The full purple getting back to tri color. The color is more varied.

Anyone else using 250W BLV having the same problem?

I'm using it now, so far no complaint on the spectrum but will be getting the 14K in my next purchase

2ft cube with 2.5 sump

so 10k still can color up...and e BLV is really bluish eh?

No it gives blue/purple coloration to acros. But it definitely have a tint of yellow to the tank look. Good growth on the acro with BLV 10K.

my experience is that the BLV 10KK not really bluish leh, in fact, I find the light has a slight tinge of yellow... :(

but by using act.... blue does it helps since the 10k light is so bright and yellowish

my green acro become white colour under 10k light :o
