Thats good wat. Your 2 shrimps are doing a good job. I got 2 cleaner, 1 fire, 1 black sea cucumber, 1 goby, sea urchin, lots of snails and my sand bed still very dirty. All they do is relax under the rocks and wait for food!

If your so called "algae" disappear at night and reappear in the morning, they are cyno bacteria, not algae.

It means that you will have to control feeding as there are excessive nutrients in your tank.

If not careful they will spread like wild fire.

Yo friend,

It could be that when your lights are off, all the cleaner crew critters like copepods, amphipods and tiny brittle stars come out to hunt and eat all the algae stuff.....

Thtas why it is cleaned up after your lights are off.
