Hi , for 3x2x2 tank, MH 150W or 250W is better for LPS? What about the heat , 250W is slightly hotter than or much hotter than 150W ? Care to sure . Thanks.

For LPS 150 watts is good enough unless you have plans for SPS later, also generates less heat.

For your tank, and LPS, PL is enough, T5 shiok and 150W MH darn good already.

250W might be too much for some softie and LPS.

250w is much hotter than 150w... and i think mi lps, softies dun open well either. mi clams look very happy though.

Thanks for the reply, had tried PL combination of (36wx2), dymax 30w x2 still

no good. Diy T5 39wx2 plus dymax 30w look like still not enough that's why going

for MH. So MH 150W is the choice. Thanks.

My 3x1.5x1.5 is on 250 BLV 20K, so far all the softies are getting better compare to 90w previously.
