Resun 280 chiller

Hi folks

thinking of getting a Resun 280 to chill my 3x2x2ft tank..can it do the job?

Why not get a higher rating one...i think 280 will overwork ur chiller in no time. Maybe at least a CL450.

I'm using a CL 650 for my 4x1.5x1.5

The reason I oversized it is because they are cheaper, but also of lesser quality. So an oversized one works less time and hence lasts longer...

Don't forget also that MH lights create a lot of heat!!! the volume ratings ratings by the manufaturer are very optimistic...

If you can afford it, go for the CL 650 and have peace of mind.

i think a cl650 for a 4 feet tank is already considered undersized ...

care to share timing it works...

im running a cl650 on a 4-1.5-1.5 feet tank

with lights on .. chiller turn on for 16min then off for 24 min then turns on again ..
