Not very heavy lah, only 8.5kg. However, bulk of the weight comes from the control gear which is inside the same housing(internal ballast). If you take out and remote the control gear, then it will be quite light. Please check your PMs.

I have a set from victron and IMHO it's quite heavy... and it's weight is unbalanced... the control gear weighs a ton!!..

Anyway if you interested can always just mod it to an external ballast.. that's what I did, go search the DIY forum for a post I made on how to mod it... as well as pics of how I mounted it..
