If it is possible do take it out, it might give an ammonia spike if your tank is small.

However if your tank is huge and have heavy rock works it might not be possible and you can only hope that there is some brsitle worm to eat it.

Dart fishes are known to jumped out of tank if not covered, did you try to look around?

IMO if you have a good clean-up crew, dead stuff would not be a problem

but this does not mean that you do not treasure your LS

if you do not want to remove your rocks, you can get hermits to do the job

one thing about dartfish is that it likes to find smalles hole it can fit and die there, and such it is hard to get scavenger that can "find" them.

Personally, I won't be able to sleep if I know I have a dead fish rotting in my tank hehe... For a 3 feet tank, I'll suggest to take it out...

I also had dartfish missing in the past, suspect it is due to crab job. I just wait for it to reappeared, but it did not. Still rest of fish looks ok, the time also forgot to check water parameters due to work commitment. :(

I suggest you check your NH3, NO2 for next 2 weeks, if it did not raised then leave it as is.
