Glass shrimp pregnant...

I just bought a pair of glass shrimp from ML yesterday... and i found out just now that the female one is pregnant... I could see the eye of the baby... Just wan to know is it possible to raise the baby to maturity...

my 2 cleaner took turns spawning and releasing their fries ... very frequently i must say .. very intresting to see those little eyes under their bellies ..... but 1 day they are there the other they are gone hehehe ...

My cleaner shrimp also got eggs. Would the eggs pose any imbalance to the system?

imbalance? they provide gd zooplankton to ur fishes! dun tink the new born will stay in the tank for more than a min.. poor them..

The cleaner shrimps are really good addition then. Always give a thorough cleaning to any new fish introduced. Also give my hands a good cleaning whenever I'm working within the tank!

You may want to check out the Breeder's Registry on Pepermint shrimp, though they are not the same species the general rule and condition and may be applied. But it is not easy and you'll need daily suppy of newly hatched brine shrimp.
