mixing salt problem

Hi,I use to made sea water using corallife brand n water very clear when after disolve but yesterday find that water not very clear after mixing it.I also notice that the marine salt i store in the fishing form box turn hard.Anyone hv this problem before?Btw i did not use the salt water worry it might do demage to my marine tank.

I use Red Sea Salt.

Salt do turn hard after some time.

But the mixed salt water is clear.

I also use Corallife brand salt to made sea water. Like you, I setup a new tank using the salt store in the plastic bag ( Which had turn hard also ) and the water was not very clear after mixing it but it turn clear only after two to three days later. During these time, I let it run thro' my sump.

u must mix the salt in a correct way... fill up the water first and pour in the salt slowly.... stir the water while you pour in the saltmix using your hand or powerhead. by doing that, you wont need to wait for days...

I did pour the salt slowly and use powerhead to disolve the marine salt.Btw the saltwater will turn clear after two days if i hv this problem?
