at such ridiculas price.... what else can u ask for? Resun is 1 of the cheapest chiller available in the market (Atman is another 1) I'm currently using the CL280, an old model, to run my 3 footer (55gallon) so far so good, it could maintain the temp at 26~26.7 deg cel in the hot season. Run around 2x10 mins every 1 hour. have been using it for 2 yrs ++ and still serving me well...

Hi

Jellyfish, What is the wattage consumption of this CL280? Can it be plug into the normal 13Amperes socket? And what is the physical size of this unit. Thanks

Charlie

CL 280 is only 1/10 hp and it consume around 70 over watts only (1 hp ard 700 over watts) it could be use on any standard 13amp supply. However, if you are using those extention, make sure the total load is not more than 10amp or 2300W (just to play safe, the actual max load for a 13amp supply should be 2990w)

meaning we can put as many equiptments into 1 wall plug as long as the total watts is less than 2300 watts ?
