Neon Blue Goby

Recommended Posts

HI all!

I'd this Neon Blue Goby for close to 3 weeks, somehow it's not really providing any cleaning services to my tangs :( In fact, I only saw it "sticking" to my tang once so far...

Luckily it's eating the flakes and stuffs... else high chance it'll be starved to death...

It's not as 'active' as my previous cleaner wrasse (that guy is so power that it pecks my hand whenever I try to take something out of my tank -- and it's eating flakes too... argh)

Thanks a lot!

Mine also got smallish white spots, a bit like trapped air bubbles (fine) ones...

is that bad?

Siput, yeap, I'd cleaner shrimp too... and another fire shrimp... urm, well, the CS is very very lazy (sigh)... there's a few times my LS is literally queueing up for its cleaning services.. simply boh chup do nothing

Same here, RedDevil!

Would it be advisable to suddenly reduce the feeding load?Would that "toggle" the natural foraging instinct of the LS in the tank to find food?

Comments?

  • 2 months later...

6ft x 2ft x 3ft

Suggestions so far.

1. Remove coral chips and ceramic rings and replace with live rocks. removed...looking for live rocks now

2. get rid of most of the filter cloth

3. First Buy!!! Skimz FR with Sorb4 and eheim pump

4. Re-doing the sump.....I~aquatic doing up the plans.

5. Lighting MH+T5 or T5 only? how many?

6. Chiller?

7. Wave maker

8. check valve on the return line to prevent sump overflow (great idea)

9. Refugium? Anything to replace it? a FR of some sort maybe?

Tank Inhabitants
