Not really, vinegar should not be overdosed. It will suppress pH and cause all sorts of weird ionic imbalance problems. Some reefers here have experienced the problems when they started using lots of vinegar, I think you can find the threads if you search. Hopefully it has not been lost.

The article is about 2 years old and since then there are commercially available calcium acetate supplements that are ionically balanced for use in the tank but still still shouldn't be overdosed.
