Ok forgive me if this has been mentioned before, but i did try to do a search but i didn't manage to find the relevant information.I'm asking this for a friend, since i'm a coral newbie, i was in no position to help, so i hope all the pros here will be able to help.

My search on the net only pointed me to the fact this is an LPS and it needs moderate light.

For a moon coral, what kind of lighting is suitable? The tank size is 2x1x1, at present i don't have any more information regarding the setup other than this.

Is PLs sufficient? If so how many tubes?

Go for T5s. You will have to replace PLs very often which means you will end up spending more in the long run. Furthermore, by the time you realise the PL has dropped in intensity normally your corals would not be doing that well by then. ;)

Always something more important than fish.
