If you're living in the west, there's a small LFS situated behind Ginza Plaza that currently has quite a lot of these.

tux urchins...tink farms would have lots of them... pasir ris esp...

but beware they are bulldozers...

yeah. including coraline algae... which will oni serve to spread it...

well from what i have read they dont really eat on the coraline agle... but do rip it apart but this also help aid in spreading the coraline agle...

Royal Urchin is a reef safe urchin. They are excellent algae eaters. As you can see by the photo, they are collectors due to their sticky spines, often has litle rocks, etc stuck to them. These guys are not bulldozers like some urchins can be.

haha... acherly i like em cos they are so cute.

i think one of e reefers here had one which ripped off corals to stick to his shell, whaahah....

ok anyway me going to use it for agle clear and have read alot about it as it's the best agle eater by far... so give it a try until it cause any damage i think i will be going to love it..

Saw 2 pincushion urchins at the LFS at Ang Mo Kio yesterday. Looks like the picture but different colour. You might wanna check it out.
