haha.. i am using NSW for my tank at home also.. nvr needed to dose anything... transportation very mafan, dats all... when u take bus with 2 bags of water....

irwana or pacific marine ... in pasir ris. the quality quite good cos they are using the same water in their display tanks

after seeing bob's tank, I decided to add in alot more algae into my main tank.

So I bought more red bamboo and red grapes which are doing very welll under my MH.

i think the algae really helped alot in maintaining the quality of my water.

The water is really very clear plus there are lots of pods at night and lots of places

for my wrasses to hide.

I bought a new coral .... daisy from irwana.

This blood joker crab was finally caught by me at 4 am.

I saw this 1 inch bugger running around on the sandbed and I picked

it up with a pincher in the dark.

Ever since it was caught. My corals stopped being toppled over.

Maybe they 1 2 keep it in thier sump cos this crabs are all also cleaning crew only to the extreme.

errm.. maybe just for looks.. looks pretty fierce. ... can put in sump, dun have to be in the main tank.

These fairy wrasses are super shy fishes ......

I throw 3 of them in the tank and they hid in the rocks

for 7 days ......

Today I bought 4 more from irwana and throw them into the tank.

Somehow with the critical mass of 7 wrassses ...... they start

come out and swim actively in the tank.

6 months ago ... I kept fairy wrasses too .... but they disappear one by one prob

due to predation by my mantis shrimp .....

This is amazing.

In the first posting of this thread, I mentioned that I disappeared for work for 3 months and came back.

Now if you look at the dates, I am exactly 1 year, **3 months** away from my last posting and I am back !!!!!!!.

For the past 1 year 3 months, I was dabbling around in stock market, taking care of my 2 years old baby and struggling with new job and now I am back.

I am back with a vengence ............
