HI DA,

I think the twin skimmer does help to keep my water quality a lot better

than just a single H&S.

For example, after feeding my fish food, there is this fishy smell that lingers in the water for say 1.5 hours. Now with my twin skimers, the smell only lingers for around 20 minutes. So I suppose the skimmers are doing the job of extracting the nutrients from the water alot faster than before.

Originally I thot by adding twin skimmer I can make my water quality better, reduce nitrate and keep SPS. BUt now I have given up on the idea of SPS .... :)

Will monitor if got any improvement or effects over longer term.

Hi Bob,

thanks for the comments.

Yes ... I have rescaped the tank for the umpteen times, almost

breaking my back and removing excess rocks.

Less rocks seems to be more beautiful. :)

I am adding in new pics of my corals.

First.... I growing fave ... Florida Rics.

I dunno why but they are really facinating to me.

A pink ric with purple rim recovering in tank that I got from AA.

Love that maxima

Hi Lorensia,

you have been undersold.

The cl450' maximum capacity is for a three feet tank.

For a four feet definitely need a bigger capacity chiller.

The CL450 keeps my 3 feet tank

plus 2 feet refugium in the 27~28 deg range quite easily.

Cheers

Wow Loren,

25 deg is a very low temperature.

Your chiller must be working very hard !!!!

I can only imagine your electric bill :)

AA is at verdun road behind Mustafa. It stands for

Aquaria Arts. Try searching for it in this website.

It is my favourite shop cos they bring in exotic

fuji shipment stuff.

It is a bit more expensive but you can usually bargain ...

and unlike some LFS who reserve or keep the best looking coral.

AA sell the corals all of them. :)

Plus the service is good and I like the people there :)

Cheers

No the flame is quite a tame fish.

I suppose you must feed it enough meat .. so that

they are not hungry and disturb your corals or clams.

The last time I kept a coral beauty and it went for my yellow polyps.

But they are smart and curious fishes and will expolre new rocks .. or corals

sometimes pecking on them for fun and for exploration.

Cheers

Another lobo that I bought from AA yesterday.

The green is very green I thot it is green gem specimen lobo.

Think it is another Fuji specimen.

The Fujian corals seem to have a much more beautiful

coloration compared to the normal Indon ... Batam type.

new green hammer that I bought from AA.

This hammer is very nice, luminous green, plus

the tentacles are short ... which is different from

the long branching type.

This specimen I think is from Fuji.

NIce hammer bro, but then i really dun know why recently so many coral and rock from Fuji???

i tot Fuji is in Japan and really high up, is there a lake there which is salt water? :P

GIve up liao!!!!!!!!!!!
