hi guys,finally got my uv coralife from eaquarist.

now i got somequestions.

is there anyway i can check like..the bulb is working,or when the bulb blows up..

as its covered and we cant see from outside..

how do we ensure the bulb is working..

at the bottom of the unit is a plastic window that you can see the light blue light when the UV lamp is running. However you'll need to change the UV lamp long before it totally burn out.

by the way im running a 6X

are they the same?

place it in a dark environment. you'll notice that the outer casing actually glows a little.

of course make sure that it is up and running when you do this. (=

the white plastic is at bottom of the unit. Go check it out
