SRC Member keithtty Posted May 23, 2004 SRC Member Share Posted May 23, 2004 nice and big frogspawns, montis, acros, dics corals, octos, jewels and lots of green/red yumas(selling by group, not by pieces, very worth it man) at new marine shop located at... no.24 Verdun Rd(beside a shop name C.C.Lee, behind Mustafa shopping mall. prices are resonable too. This shop is very interesting. 1/2 the shop sells home ornaments and 1/2 the shop is the LFS. The standard of the set-up is pretty alright. All the SPS holding tanks have 500W MH and all tanks have Schuran skimmer and Teco chiller. I am no SPS reefer, but I think there were quite a few stunning pcs there. Worth taking a look. FuEl
Sea Squirt = Tunicates lah... Vincent Ho I know..but common names can be confusing. Last time they were called blue sea squirt. Now blue lollipop tunicate. Of cause must make sure if different species what. Always something more important than fish. http://reefbuilders.com/2012/03/08/sps-pico-reef/

RAV-65
BLue sea squirt and blue lollipop tunicate is different species... Although both a tunicate... Hmmm.... dun wan to be too certain on this, as far as i know, sea squirts are tunicates, just dat they have different species.... the blue sea-squirt belong to the family of coloured tunicates whereas the blue lollipop, is also a kind of tunicate, but somewhat of a different species... RAV-65
Lollipop... Blue sea squirt Totally different... Wow! nice pics!! Bro, correct lah, I'm saying the blue sea-squirts belong to the coloured sea-squirt family, which is a kind of tunicate, same as the lollipop, which is also a kind of tunicate, but the common name for tunicates is sea-squirt... so, sea-squirt=tunicates.... Achilles Tang
Don't rush out to get sea squirts if you have problems maintaining good water quality because these guys require constant feeding of phytoplankton on a regular basis... these are filterfeeders!
