yup no offence but it looked bleached. the colour looks exactly like my bleache frogspawn

It is a translucent frogspawn/octopus.

It's more sensitive to water parameters than normal frogspawn. General care is similar but got to be careful when the tentacles don't extend.

Thanks Scarab. Been opening up rather nicely since the day I bought it, but noticed its very sensitive to disturbances - close up rather rapidly whenever a snail moves past it or something. But its really pretty!! Can't really find much info on it anywhere but then again, I don't really have any good coral book.

Haven't seen it in any coral book also. They are lovely, huh? You're right that they are very sensitive. Even to too much light or current. I couldn't find a suitable enough location to place mine. It was not happy and finally it decided to expire

looks bleached to me... zooxanthellae algae expelled..

Hi Scarab and all,

Eric Bornerman (hope I spelled correctly) from reef central said its bleached. Well, he is the expert so he is most probably right. Nevertheless, it still looks nice with its translucent green tentacles! So hopefully, it will gain back its zooxanthellae algae with time.
