ok its down to these ladies so far... Jasmine seems like she is goin out this week.

I am predicting next to be Fantasia Barrino

So its gonna be a La Toya vs Diana DeGarmo final! :lol:

and my vote for AMI 3?

its Diana DeGarmo! cos shes got a great voice and plenty of youth!!! only 16!!! age sells..... :lol:

you mean you people bother watching this show? I don't know but....well. nevermind.

I just don't bother wasting my time with this show. then again, it probably is due to the fact that there's wrestling on if you have cable TV. :P

but if I have to pick, I'll chose Jasmine. Fantasia has this very 2%!@% attitude. :P

actually who deserves to be the american idol...

not jasmine, her vocal range loses to the other 3

not fantasia, coz although she has a good range and can reach the notes very well, the tone of her voice itself borders on the point of irritating, like simon said at one point, sounds like donald duck, cartoon character voice...

a tie between latoya and diana for me...

but ultimately i prefer diana has the enthusiasm and is a raw diamond, whereas latoya's performances are polished to the point of boring, never fails to disappoint, but she never surprises us with anything further week by week...

and add the fact that latoya is alittle over the prime age for a new star, commercial opinions will point in the favour of diana who is still young and very mouldable :)

but of coz diana should lose a few pounds...i always see her double chin when she smiles :P

but ultimately it is the public who votes, not the recording companies..hehe

The winner may not be the best singer, at one stage, how can La Toya, Fantasia and Jennifer Hudson be at the bottom 3 vs Huff, Stevens, Jasmine and Degamo?

The winner need not have the best voice, looks and personality are important, among all 4 Jasmine is the weakest but she may be able to hang on, Fantasia appears too cocky and confident, not an idol but a good singer. I believe Jas will has a lot of followers as she is pretty, that's what sells records!

Talking about looks, look at our friend William Hung, a big success. If you listens to his album, you have a good laugh, one can be as successful as Mr Bean as a comedian, but he brings out laughter in people, the hospital should play his songs as it will provide therapatic effect on depressed patients, so if you are angry or depressed, listen to William Hung, it will bring out the laughter in you!

age wise, Diana definitely has an edge... and though La Yoya is pretty good, she is a little too old - not much to milk from..... ;)

Jasmine confirm out i guess...her range realli CMI... :o

as for fantasia, she has great showmanship and stage presence :) BUT! her voice, though wide ranging and powerful, has a flaw - it doesnt sound pleasant...too shrill... try listening to her CD e whole day, i would probably get very "eeeeeeks" :ph34r:

And yes, Diana needs to shed some weight.... for an idol e figure simply isnt there... :lol: And she needs to select her songs better... song selection realli is e key here. La Toya seems to be able to pick e right songs..... even Fantasia cant beat that! and Jasmine, well, she always pick songs that she cant reach or sing :sick: (she went out of breath last nite :ph34r: )

but whoever win or lose, AMI3 is a great show to watch!!! :peace:

it's not about who's the best singer............it's who the voters want. can be v v bias. guess, it'll be the same w S'pore idol. think the one with the biggest pocket may win as the population is so small compared to American, can easily influence the results.

actually, i prefer to watch the unedited versions, really admire those w guts & no talent going for auditions............................

RACIALIST!!! What Elton John said was right! It's no longer about quality of the singer, it's about ethnic/region sentiment (did u know the whole Hawaiian state back in US, all support Jasmine to win, does not matter if with she is good or not)...In fact, I saw the Channel Fox News where Paula Abdul said she has had enough! is too tired with this show, particularly "this situation" ;)

Good bye Latoya! :(

PS: Did you know even Ruben Studdard won the first place, and Aiken was second place, but Aiken got more contracts of advertisements, and his album sold better than Ruben.....u know why....;)
