Throw it away.

Where did you get the idea that heating it can regenerate it?

U could try to control your feeding to reduce waste build up, or do more water change...

It would be good if you could invest on a good PO4 test kits to test your PO4 level.

Cyno needs for PO4 is only one of the many source of fuel to grow..

cyano starts as a biofilm on your LR, substrate and once it establishes itself, it is difficult to remove. same goes to hair algae.

Thats why you see people using rowa at the start of their tanks

There's nothing to worry about cyano. It comes and goes by itself. Only when it is resistant and staying for a long time then there is a problem. All new tanks will go through the algae cycle and cyano it just part of it.

It's all about water management.

haha :off::off: but , i think he got i from the silica gell, after when it absorbs up all the moisture, u can re-use it by re-heating it, ;)

Try increasing water movement in your tank. Esp near the sand bed and water surface (without salt spray). Rowaphos does'nt starve cyano that fast. You need to wait about 2-4 weeks to totally see the cyano die of starvation. In the meanwhile you might want to try some activated carbon and skimming heavily. Dissolved organic compounds can also fuel cyano bloom. Try to pick out as much cyano as you can daily so that when they die off nutrients don't get released back into the water.

Always something more important than fish.
