SRC Member soggycookies Posted April 1, 2020 SRC Member Share Posted April 1, 2020 haha pai sei.Any bros know whether this big tank need approval? Personally I think it’s best to ask. From what I’ve heard/read on some older forums, some got their 6ft rejected by hdb while I’ve seen many folks keeping huge arowana tanks in their hdb units. No harm enquiring. More importantly imo is to make sure the tank/fittings can fit through the doors of the hdb unit in question. I got my 6x3x2.5ft tank cheap from a tank maker cause their original client realized it couldn’t fit through his door only after they’d made it. A lot of reefers here also kept planted tanks before and transition between Reefing to planted and vice versa when the hobby gets a little boring. 1 Quote Display Tank : 36" x 20" x 20" Herbie overflow box design, Sump : 36" x 21" x 17", Frag Tank : 16” x 20” x 16”, custom built by Tank Culture.
