raise of ph value !

I hope you know what you are doing when you add Reef Buffer.

Assuming you do, Reef Buffer can increase pH and will increase it to extremely high levels if overdosed. Please do so gradually.

Reef Buffer consists of mostly sodium bicarbonate, so it will increase your alkalinity as well. Calcium levels will not be increased by Reef Buffer as it does not contain calcium but if overdosed it can reduce the calcium levels of the water.

sorry to hijack but is it like a seawaw? if calcium is sky high your ph/kh will be low? :erm:

Reef Advantage Calcium does not alter the pH or dkH to a significant extent.

Probably the additive with the highest pH anyone will add to the tank. It will dramatically increase pH if added quickly to the tank but if added slowly allowing the water and ions to equilibrate it will only increase the pH a little.

just brought the seachem kalkwasser n not very sure how to use it correctly....no confident at all lor ....................

tats mean as a whole if i increase the ph using reef buffer , ph and kh level will increase but calcium level will decrease......

am i right????
