hey..no need so mafan!..i've done this so many times..I've seen Sam at sealife do this too: take a heavy metal ruler or a strong heavy wood file (or anything metallic, has weight and slim), just put the crate on the floor, standing upright with the edges line up vertically, hit it along the edge downwards to snap off the uncut pieces...it usually snap off very nicely and neat! as long as you give it a sharp wack, it'll break of nice and easy! If there's still little protuding pieces, just use a heavy file to file or snap it off! Dun use fire!! it'll burn the edge!

hi Hoe,

mind telling me where is c328?

I bought 4 pieces for $100

Surely you're referring to mrJOE and not me right? :P

Anyway, c328 is Clementi blk 328 its near the MRT station.

Alternatively, if you live in the North, you can buy it at $18 from one of the LFS at Serangoon North. Its diagonally across rainbow (across the zebra crossing) - second shop. I dun't know the name of the shop though.

The hardware shop sells for $22.

I also heard that PacMarine is selling them for $18, unverified fact to me though.

Most hardware shop should carry them, and all the ones I've approached quoted me $18 a piece.

I dunno about burning/melting them man, I mean the carbon and stuff, unless you use a blowtorch as Tango suggested. IMO, a good file should do a decent job.

First stage done. Using the expose edge to interlock the joints. So solid that I can even stand on it. Anyway, I choose to do a good job by filing off all the sharp edges  :P

erm.......... both hand soar from the cutting now ..

Dino, Before you proceed any further, ther might be a major issue with your light diffusers....

the entire plate is only balanced at the edges .... hope you know that liverock stacked up would be rather heavy.... so do recommend that you distribute out the weight bearing abilities of your stacker by adding more pieces in the mid section of each plate..... :)

and hus to add on.... placing the pieces perpendicular to each other would strengthen the whole structure by alot....
