Ha ha. Was waiting for that. Either my test kit ###### up or what I don't know. Has been this reading since day 1 I started SPS. Using Salifert. But since I'm happy with the appearance of the coral don't bother to do too much adjustment lah. Do water change also like that. Sometime meddle too much end up got more problem lah.

You mean you have the same problem???

Yea...hehe..got nitrates...used be around 30-40ppm. Recently measured around 15ppm. Nitrates don't affect sps very seriously if kept below 50ppm. Of cause the lower the better..since NSW has nitrate levels way below 1ppm. Phosphates affect sps much more.

Actually test show colour in between the 25 to 50 ppm but my eyes not very good at differentiating the colour lah. Sometime closer to 25 sometime closer to 50. Feel like installing denitrator. My bloody DSB in my refugium also no effect.
