hi reefers,intend to set up a 3 ft frogfish tank without LR... how many fish should i keep?i intend to keep few suncorals too... do i need like for he tank?

Live Aquaria recommends a minimum of 30 gallons for frogfish. But these monsters can be very big eaters. And they have a tendency of being cannibals (esp if the size if very different, I think).

I suggest you work out the volume of your tank 1st.

On a separate note, you must also admit that anglers, although interesting to look at, are not very active. So a pure angler tank will look rather "lifeless" or "motionless".

frogfish is said that it cannot be tkaen out of water to long rite?or else they cannot take out air in them...can keep wiht seahore?

IMO, frog fish cannot be kept with anything that is not bigger than it...

heard from one of my frens.. that his mandarin which was as big as his frog fish.... did not last more than a minute in his tank...

guess where the mandarin went??

Without any LR, I assume you will be leaving your sun corals on the sandbed. But considering your tank is a 3 footer, I don't think you can reach the sandbed to feed your sun corals at all.
