The whole setup looks great. Especially the wood triming on the corners of the tank :D Hopefully can get it up in time for Euro 2004.. can see soccer and reef at the same time

Bwilly... i strongly recommend that you redo all your piping now... and use true union ballvalves to cut off water not just for maintenance but also to control water flow.

After speaking with one senior reefer and my own read up. I decide something for my tank system.

Tank will run DSB and plenty of LRs. I will reduce the bio-balls when the tank get more mature, reducing the NO3. Having a small area in sump for macro algae to uptake the nutrients.

Adding of carbon and rowa phos on regular basis. Carbon to remove the toxic and yellowish of tank water.

Rowa phos to remove the phosphate (esp release from carbon).

Frequent changing of filter pads. Filter media will be used mainly physical filteration.

Current wallet damage quite jiat liat.. so the overall progress of the tank will be at my own sweet time.

BTW, I notice that your sump is very tall.  The same problem as mine.  Later on you may find it difficult to fit the in sump skimmer, and also to access to the sump.  How much clearance do you have?

not a problem on the clearance..

I need the height cause of the pump..

bloody sucker..!!

my cabinet was built higher than normal one cause of

this. I can dump my current 2013 with collection cup no problem.

the three compartment of my sump tonite I show more detail pic.

3000ltr/hr..?

MD55 is much more than that..

it can pressure rate up to 8m..

flow rate if I am not wrong is 5000ltr++/hr
