HELP SALINITY KEEPS DROPPING

Hi fellow reefers, my salinity keeps dropping daily. Can't seem to figure it out. What are the possible reasons for this? Any help/suggestion would be appreciated. Thanks!

Btw it has wiped all my corals due to me constantly fighting to raise the salinity. Fishes are fine but might have to restart the tank which I'm hoping to prevent.

Mine is a nano tank 18 gallons with a chaeto reactor and hang on skimmer. Nothing fancy. Cheers

Just guessing.

1)  If you are using a Refractometer, maybe that is faulty and needs calibration.

2) Maybe you are skimming out too much water, then your ATO is adding fresh water which slowly dilutes the salt%.

Hi guys thanks for all the comments, turns out it is a faulty digital refractometer. SG was 1.038. @davey helped me out to check my water and it was terrible. All it took was faulty equipment. At least I know the problem will sort it out immediately. Lesson learnt

Cheers!
