Auto top off question

Anyone has used the redstarfish MT-02 before? Can it be fitted with a auto top off float valve?

I tot this sit on the tank and drops bit by bit if ulthe level low somthing like that

No need float valve. As Long as one of the pipe is above water, it will flow. If water filled goes above both pipe, water stops flowing from container.

The thing is won't the salt diffuse into the fresh water in the container? Then the salinity will decrease a bit

That's a great question, but I think if really that happens, it's negligible. Even if diffusion occurs it will be within the container.
