I dunt know what happening to the ICH eversince i got the UV online. Maybe should take a sample of water and see if the ICH in the water is being killed/reduced over a period of time. Now, who has a microscope? hehehe

but even if it does kill ich, i dun think we should use it in a reef tank, fish only tanks should be ok though...

coz it will indiscriminately kill the good stuff in the tank along with the ich....may end up killing more good than bad in the tank and end up nuking the tank.....

just like copper...proven to kill ich...but will kill all invertebrates and even microlife in a reef tank...

it's hard to find a chemical that can target kill a certain organism without incurring collateral damage

But according to the thread, it might work because of its anti-parasitical properties? and its well known that ICH is a parasite?

*Still keeping my fingers crossed for the sake of all of us*

If one medication is capable of treatin/ removin all parasites. Then it must be a god made medication....u believe this medication exists? Anyway, nt to dampen ur high hope pinned on the medication......i sincerly hope it works too. ;)
