anyway, the packaging and documentation of the coralife definitely seems more proper than the uvc brand...coz i used the uvc brand last time in freshwater days...even the black casing, the coralife one feels more solid in built...

mine is the 12x as well....got it cheap

but UV will not get rid of ich alone, u can see rows and rows of huge UV equipment in some farms, but sometimes u can still see some ich on the fishes...

so dun place your hopes too high, nonetheless, it can do no harm definitely buying one....helps lighten wallets as well
