New setup - basic..1st time.

Most of the beginner hs face this challenge because if you choose hobby as fishkeeping then the process to set up a new tank is very important.Below I describe some easy steps which, may help you to build a perfect tank for your fish.
1. First of all, you need to choose the right size tank for your fish, Most of the people have missed out on this step but choosing the right tank is very important to maintain your fish healthy.
2. Now you need to prepare the tank. Clean the tank properly and After the purchased of all equipment, you need to set it up step by step.
3. After cleaning your tank you can add Substrate and Water.
4. Install all the equipment very well. If you face problem then you can take help from an expert, but make sure you install the all equipment very well.
5. Now you can add a plant and the decoration.
6. Cycle the tank properly.
if you have a freshwater tank then use some ammonia for cycling.
If you have a saltwater tank then you can use live rock.
7. After setting the tank waits a few weeks then you can add your fish.

Clown and shrimp are pretty ok.

Definitely must have canister filter or try to build ur own sump. Don't think ur HOB filter have enough space for both mechanical and biological filtration. What lights are u using btw?
