"possible" is not exactly wat u should know...."reliable" is more appropriate

i used to have a tank exactly the same dimension as wat u stated, 6mm too....it can hold the tank but beware of falling rocks...i'm not saying tat 10mm or 15mm is bullet-proof but it will definitely be better.....

i upgraded to a 10mm tank 3X1.5X2(height) to be more kiasu....

i've even heard of 6mm for 4ft tanks....it is really up to u and your pocket....

My previous tank is also the same size with 6mm. But my advise will be go for 8mm or 10mm. Dont have to worry about tank giving up.

if you use 6mm, it will be always in back of your mind that it may break some day.

Tanks for all the advices, because already told the guy I wanted, not so nice to say dunwan now. Will be careful with the tank then since it is possible.

Thanks for the reply.

If you have already agreed to buy it, then you might want to choose a marine system that will not overload the tank. Eg: Low LR with few fish. More importantly beware of knocking the tank.

I think (marine) therefore I am

dun overload your tank with too much live rocks and water to the brim lor....my "previous" tank 3 x 1.5 x 1.5 6mm slowly became a bow-front in less than 2 months with 30kg of live rock!!! cant imagine wat will happen in the future.......luckily cleared everything liao....whew!!!

it is not possible for the glass to warp without the silicon giving way to a major leak.pls do not mislead fellow reefers..
