Good Service @ PetMart

Hi Reefers,

Just wanted to share a good experienece with one of our Sponsor, PetMart.

Last week, I was trying to connect my UV to my 2213 so as to keep the UV cleaner than direct from IOS. As the UV connection is different from the 2213 piping, I decided to get the necessary stuffs from PetMart.

When I was there, I just told the sales person (heard they call him Frost) what I am trying to do as I am not sure the exact diameter of UV connection plus the ehiem hose. Although they do not carry Coralife Turbo Twister, he voluteer to help me to call they supplier to enquire the specs and also to double check which is the inflow and which is the out flow of the UV as I have lost the manual.

After all the hassle, we found out that I will only need a small section of a eheim hose of a bigger diameter from Petmart and I can get the adapters to covert the bigger to smaller diameter from any hardware store. Which means the most I will spend in their shop will be $2 for 1ft of the hose (Which is already an overkill as I only need a small section).

The best thing is he just went behind the counter and return with about 5inch of the hose free of charge.

I mean if this services is rendered if I am purchase hundreds of dollars of products from PetMart than I would not be impressed, this service was rendered to me eventhough in his experience he would know that he may end up with $2 worth of sale. This is what I called service.

By the way, I have not even covered of the prices of products at PetMart, it is really attractive. I will definitely go there more often :D

Good or no good, juz keep it to ourselves. The consumers are smart. :lol:

IMO, its nt necessary to specially start a thread juz to commend on any LFS. Else very soon we will have pple arguing again coz there will always be pple who have pleasant experience with certain LFS and pple tat dun. The above few posts are very good examples ;)

IMO, its nt necessary to specially start a thread juz to commend on any LFS. Else very soon we will have pple arguing again coz there will always be pple who have pleasant experience with certain LFS and pple tat dun. The above few posts are very good examples ;)

Quite true also. Sometimes just can never pleased everybody. :o

for information purposes, if i appear to be just another disgruntled customer, actuall im not. been patronising tis lfs since 1992. IMHO thru time, u see a person's true sales attitude.

However, couldnt agree more with wat jdn said. :)

yeah great place...

one of the rare LFSs with the loyalty point system...

but the bad thing about it is that it shows me that i spent more than *cough* thousand bucks there already... :P even with documents to back it up!!! :shock: ahhh! *faints* :wacko:
