Bro..pros and cons???

I know PVC pipes will have a few angles and turns that slows down the water flow...eheim pipes are better ..right?? but if someone steps on it or it bends.... bad news....

If someone steps on it then prepare to buy a new sump :P

I would use at least a small pc of flexible tubing, that'll help on the vibration from the pump as well.

A bit :off: anyone knows where to buy ehiem 25/32mm tubing? Seems to be out of stock everywhere! except for one place selling at $25/m.

Wei... don't trust cable tie... better get metal clip type! :)

A loose hose that pops out when you're not there is really really something you want to avoid! :D

Trust me, Wei Leong, I share this tip from my own personal experience... having a few litres of water spraying at you in the space of a few seconds is frightening... and note... I WAS THERE!!!! Imagine if I wasn't!

i do not really understand the meaning of the PVC angles will lessen the water flow.

I thought that water out from pump = water out from pipe?

But if you tame me, we shall need each other.

definitely not....

simply put, ask u travel on a straight road as fast as you can and travel on a road with many bends as fast as you can..

i am sure you will travel faster on a straight road using the same car
