Brown film on Torch ...

Need some advice from the experts ...

I had a brown torch for a few months, and then suddenly, one day, part of it was engulfed in a brownish filmy thingy. This slowly spread to the whole of the torch. The next day, the torch was dried up and gone :(

Can anyone explain what happened? My other corals (eg. jewel, goniopora, brains) are doing fine.

Thanks! :peace:

could it be the brown jelly?

It could be the expelling of zooanthelle

Expelled zoo does not engulf the whole coral.

i think the brown film is a sign of the coral being dead..... like the coral become decomposed.... but the time you see the brown film... its gone.... I experienced it a few times.... and evertime the brown thingy stinks!!!
