ID help please

 Hi, I'm new here, but does anyone know what this thing is. It hitchhiked on the base rock of my leather coral

It’s a type of red macroalgae. Suggest you use tweezers to remove them as once they spread on your rock work they are a pain to remove. Very tough & hard texture with deep roots

Oh no I meant the coral looking ball in the center of the picture, but thanks for the tip!
