Weird behavior

Recommended Posts

Just wondering if any fellow keepers witness this...

Happened twice so far...I approached the tank and somehow spooked the female scooter...it immediately burrowed into the sand with only the 2 eyes exposed above the sand.

Did'nt notice the male doing this though...

Always something more important than fish.

Mine seems like it's craving for my attention... keeps swimming against the glass looking at me.. weird..

Do you feed these guys? I haven't seem him feeding on anything I've put in the tank except small pecks he makes on the sand and rocks...

yes, urs is a female. can see the fin at the back, it's quite short, and when open up, not as nice as the male one. ;)

Everything's sold. Back in 2yrs time.

If it's a WRX, it gotta be STI.

Scooters don't take cyclops. Cyclopeeze is too small for their liking....

Too small?? Wah their tiny mouths can take so big food?

I think mine is happily eating pods or something, it climbs all over the rockwork pecking at the rocks...

You have to start to train them to eat mysis...purposely leave some mysis on the sand bed..hopefully their curiosity will kick in.. They won't last on a diet of pods alone in the tank...they will consume pods faster than the pods can reproduce..

Always something more important than fish.
