Hi anyone use this reactor ? Is it good that make changing of media easy ?

 

currently I’m using filter bags to put the media but each time I take out the bags from the sump , the dirt will fly all over the sump and into the Display tank .

 

would like to have some reviews on the Torq

Yup I am using the 2.0 body.

I put zeomix at the bottom half, TOP half I mix carbon n rowa.

The only point to note is when opening the body to open straight, if not may snap the middle acrylic bar.

The good thing is you can control the flow of the water thru the reactor and it has a small footprint

No splashing the water slides down the body nicely.

What I like of this reactor is to replace the media is just uncap and pour out. No unscrewing required. The pump is just right sized and the flow thru the body can be controlled to give the rowa a gentle tumbled and does not over agitate the carbon
