Black tang

Recommended Posts

i have 2 blacks and chevron..

authentic black and mutant black...

only advice i can give u is that make sure your tank is in good condition, then u can consider adding these expensive tangs...better still if u have tangs currently in your system to gauge.

u dun want to add such expensive tangs to a tank only to find them dying soon after...waste money....

initially, my pbt wacked my black tang until there's ich breakout and cloudy eye on one side....almost lost the guy..........

you have to be prepared that you may lose it if your bt is too stressed up by the aggresion.

i got mine from CF, they have done the initial quarantine measures and fatten the guy up, so the guy pulled through....

cant say that for most LFS ard ;)

so in the case tt ur black tang was eating, it means that there is a chance tt it recovers from itch?

that is only a maybe................

my Atlantic Blue Tang was eating and ich free....once it is stressed up...it ate for a couple more days...now it has stopped eating...............so I would say 50/50

my black tang however persevered and continued eating...so he recovered...

:)

authentic black pics u can get from deepblue, his one swimming in open waters, mine is a hermit swimming lengthwise along the back of the tank....coz my yellow tang hates him....even up to now...

when I put my AT into the tank, he tried to dart out to bully the AT, but the yellow tang banish him to cold palace again...haha

now i can only admire he and his shadows darting behind the rockworks....sooner or later he will get too fat and have to come out...

but i think the yellow tang bit his fins till he scared already...

chevron below,

he is the only tang without being bullied by the yellow tang or sailfin tang...probably they din know this guy's a tang as well

but as DA says....zebrasoma family is no joke....guy has dominated the other tangs liaoz...has bullied my atlantic blue into whitespot outbreak too.....

Today just caught the atlantic blue..now nursing in a 1ft cube..... :erm:
