Views on which PO4 export option work best

Dear reefers,

I am starting a 3ft tank which will house soft corals and fishes.

Hence, PO4 is expected to shoot high with regular feedings and likely to run into algae problems.

Have read online and came to a few options to do the PO4 export:

1) GFO

2) ATS

3) Macroalgae Reactor

4) ???

Would like to seek some views based on your experience on the Impact vs Effort vs Cost on the various options.

Dose with distilled vineger simple and cheap.. No need carbon or other product to replenish the nitrate nitrite anmonia and phospate but needed a bactaria

PO4?  Rowaphos works fantastic. Always brought within specs within a week. And it has pretty good capacity too (lasts quite long).

Ideally used in a reactor so that flow can be adjusted according to requirements.

Another overlooked option is dosing kalk for kh and cal will also lower phosphate

Bang care to share to do this. What the ratio to add? And what you mean by need to add bacteria? Why need to add?

I'm doing a combination of ATS, GFO and NoPOX solution. Keeping SPS and other mix corals, so far water condition is pretty stable.

Have not done any water parameter testing for more than 1 and a half years.

The easiest I think is still either chaeto or biopellet+skimmer combo

As large a refugium as possible with chaeto and good lighting like kessil h380 for fast growth if you don’t want to deal with the hassle/risk of dosing accidents

+1 to rowaphos with reactor.

Effective , inexpensive, direct (doesn't affect your other parameters) and low maintenance.
