about how much is a e-ballast for mh 150w cost?

anyone know where i can get them?

and also if i were to purchase a mh using magnet ballast..

can i change it to e-ballast?

i think a e-ballast alone will cost $100+, not too sure the exact price....u can change the ballast as long as they are the same wattage....check it out with viclitem, they sell the cheapest, to my limited knowledge.....

Before I spend the $ on the eballast, want to know if the eballast will help save electricity. Anyone can help?

Yes it's supposed to save you some money by running the MH more efficiently... but I can't back them up with any hard facts... it's just on what I've read...

I was guessing since it emits less heat, it should save some electricity. But just thinking the saving will be substantial enough to spend the hundreds on the eballest. Any other advantages over magnectic ballasts?

I think some people claim it will prolong your bulb's lifespan...
