Not looking for them, I am interested in bannerfish and MI, but MI is definitely a no no. I would study bannerfish further.....see the level of risk....

If they leave full sps reef alone, I might try....and give up the meaty LPS

why is MI a no no? isn't it more reefsafe than bannerfish?

no lah...I think they are the same ...just that I tried one and it wiped out a lot of my very nice fishes in my Q tank

too much risk involved.....

and MI...will almost nip at most corals

mine has not nipped anything except for my clove polyps.

then again I have nothing meaty inside for it to nip. can somebody lend me a few pratas to go through the Moorish Idol Acceptance Test aka MIAT? I wouldn't be held responsible if it became FIAT aka Failed In Acceptance Test.

my tank got 2 pratas.. hope my MI dun, as you said, FIAT.

haha banner are one of the more not reef safe butterflies.... dun get them but if you want sl got a few very nice specimens

update on my MI.. it had a recent bout with ich. kena stressed by my yellow tang bullying it.. luckily more or less settled down already and recovering nicely.
