Help: setting min and max remp of RR chiller

Hi! Can anybody help in setting the min and max temp for reef relief chiller? Im using a 0.5hp and the instructions included simply doesnt make sense....

what do you mean by max min temp? You mean "max as the temp that the compressor will start running and "min" as temp the compressor will stop?

In this case you need to refer to the instruction.

"min" temp will be the set point.

"max" temp will be the setpoint (min) + HY.

errr... thats what i meant... ok.. my setpoint is set to 26deg....then i set the HY to 2deg (which means it will start to run by 28deg is it?)

anyway, after i set it, the screen showed "ot" blinking... what is that?

OT is for calibration of the temp.

Let's say you've a thermometer in your tank and it shows 25 degs but the display on your chiller shows 27 degs. You'll need to set OT to "-2.0" to make the two display the same.

You got the HY setting correct

After you set your HY correctly then OT will blink, just leave it and it will go back to normal mode in about 10 sec.
