Recalibration of Temperature for Atman CS-400CIV

Hi Fellow Reefers,

Anyone have any idea on how to recalibrate the temperature/Thermostat for Atman CS-400CIRV.

Seems that recently, the temp. indicated by the Chiller's thermostat is much lower that the digital Thermometer in the main tank.

eg. Main tank temp = 26 Degrees, Temp. sensor in Chiller = 21 Degrees

Would like to recalibrate chiller temp to be same as Main tank so that I do not have to set low temp of 21C to achieve 26C in main tank.

:thanks:

As for accuracy, I do two test.

Test One: I use a lab mercury thermometer and read off both temp to see if they are the same.

Test Two: Make use of freezing point. Get a beaker of ice, if possible, make the ice out of distilled water. Dip the probe in and see if it will drop to ZERO. If it will drop to zero and not higher or lower, then it is accurate. :) Better still, do the test with a mercury thermometer. :D

Test one for those with a lab thermometer. Test two if you do not have a thermometer. Quite simple really! ;)
