Just hook up my chiller to the 2000l\h atman pump yesterday night, the flow output from the chiller just nice.

Is it ture that first time run the chiller it will take longer time to cool the whole tank to the temp i set?Btw i set the temp to 27deg but actual temp is 28deg,can anyone advice me on that, thks.

About the temperature, I had this observation too.

When you set 27, the chiller will run until it hits the 27deg mark but in reality 27.9deg (it doesn't chill to 27.0deg)... Almost an instant later the temperature on the display will jump to 28deg and will rise until the 2 deg difference is met meaning 29.0deg (29-27=2deg) then the chiller will kick in again and bring it down to 27 (27.9 in reality).

In other word, your temperature will be maintained in the 28deg range when you set it at 27 and at 27deg range it you set it at 26... weird huh?

Well it's all depend on the type of digital temperature controller your chiller is using..

for some chiller which is using 3 digital display e.g. 2.75 degree then u can really set the correct temp u want.

For my case I set my temp to be min 27.5 and max 28.5 so chiller will kick start on 28.7 and stop at 27.3.

Also I find using a low watt pump that can give 2000l/h e.g. sicca which is only 35watt and able to give me 2300l/h.. at least it's not those china make pump which it's flow rate is half of what they clam.

U r right, the chiller will start to kick when the temp reach 29deg when i set to 27deg but actual temp is 28deg,I think thats how resun chiller work.Btw my chiller start to kick for 3-5min every 15-20min base on the above temp set, will this comsume lots electricity and chiller will get stress?
